…And Peggy!

Whilst studying in Edinburgh I was a member of the Napier University Drama Society. Their annual show written by group members was inspired by the three famous sisters from broadways Hamilton.

The play focuses primarily on Peggy Schuyler at the height of the American revolution. Peggy is a strong character challenging society “norms” by getting involved heavily in politics. However, her two sisters frown upon it and want her to stay in her lane. An empowering show about a woman doing things differently in 1965.

Initial concept session test sheet: Concept 01, Peggy wearing a top hat with her sisters glaring was selected.
