Data Diner

The Data Diner is a speculative project, produced for my Final Major. It is an awareness campaign focusing on the effects of oversharing online on social media.

My key goal was to educate on the ways we may unintentionally be feeding cyber crime. The project was designed as a pop-up experience touring cities around the UK (before coronavirus came to town). It now serves as a virtual piece.

Website Prototype serving as a realised mock up of the website experience, including the virtual tour. I created this using Adobe XD.

The diner was chosen as it is an icon of the golden age, serving as a ‘best of’ that time. Data Diner underpins theories surrounding the presentation of self online. Are you inadvertently feeding cyber criminals your information on a platter? I want to show people how they can share with care and raise awareness.
